7 of New York’s 15 Law Schools now accept the GRE

Seven out of the fifteen Law Schools in New York now accept the GRE particular. The alternative test has now been accepted by all the 3 top-tier campuses of the state. The latest 2 of the top New York colleges accepting GRE are New York University Law School and the Cornell Law School. The CLS is also permitting submission of GMAT scores by long-term applicants. GMAT is normally used by the Business Schools.

CLS has said that it will accept both the GMAT plus GRE scores. This is apart from the conventional Regulation School Admission Test. The NYU Law School also announced that GRE scores will be accepted for the inbound class for 2019, as quoted by the Law Firm Retreat Ideas.

In October 2017 Columbia Law School had said that it would commence acceptance of GRE scores from this particular fall. Across the US, 22 schools are now permitting applicants to submit LSAT or GRE scores. Nevertheless, CLS is only the second to just accept the GMAT.

The first law school to accept the GMAT for traditional JD admissions was the University of Pa Law School. This was announced by the law school in June 2017. Other colleges have loge before permitted particular GRE and GMAT scores for joint degree applicants. This includes the Northwestern University Pritzker College of Law.
