Entrepreneurship Visa Routes – Innovator and Startup – were introduced in March 2019 by the UK government specifically targeting entrepreneurial talent.

The Startup Visa will help all those interested in setting up a business in the UK for the first time. This replaces the Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa, thereby widening the access to new entrepreneurs from a diverse background and not merely limited to recent graduates as earlier.

Do keep in mind that there is no requirement for having secured any initial business funding. For the Startup visa for the UK, an applicant will have to gain an endorsement initially, and then later use this same endorsement for applying for a visa.
