SAT Coaching

When it comes to the SAT exam, the registration process for international students, is somewhat different from that for students living in the United States. But assistance is readily available for international students wishing to register for the test.

Registration for SAT

In countries around the world the SAT is given six times a year. While for all students taking the SAT there are some requirements in place, there are additional requirements for international students.

On the official website of the College Board, you can find those requirements organized by country. Remember that there is no late enrollment option for international students. This makes it all the more important for the international students to consult the list of test registration deadlines. The deadlines for changes made to your registration are listed alongside the test registration deadlines.

Take the help of a representative

If you would like some guidance while registering for the SAT, you can call in your country for a SAT International Representative. On the College Board website, there’s a list of official representatives who can help you. Remember you have to work with a representative who has been approved by SAT.

You will be registering on paper instead of online when you get a representative ‘s assistance. After the registration form is complete, it is the responsibility of your representative to send it in by the deadline.

Fees for the test

The list of testing fees for international students linked to the SAT can be found on the website of the College Board. A special list is available featuring non-U.S. Fees, with countries organized according to region.

Preparing for the test

Once you have registered for the SAT, it is time to switch your focus to preparation for testing. The first thing you have to do is attempt SAT practice tests. Your results will reveal both your strongest skills and the skills that need a little bit of work.

Make sure to take a few final precautions as your test day arrives after registering for the SAT and dedicating plenty of time to the preparation.  Make sure you have the correct identification and other paperwork you need, so that you can check into the test center without trouble and sit down for the test.
