Canada Express Entry

The significance of being prepared proactively in Canada Express Entry has been highlighted in the last few days. This was through the opening of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia streams aligned with the Express entry.

Candidates who are successful in their applications in any of these 2 streams obtain 600 extra CRS points. This means that they can be assured of receiving an ITA for Canada PR, as quoted by the CIC News.

Nova Scotia

On April 27 the opening of Express Entry Stream Nova Scotia Demand was announced by Nova Scotia. It said that 350 applications would be accepted through this stream on April 28. This means interested candidates had just 24 hours of preparation.

The NSDEE operates on the basis of first served for first arrived and its intake limits are exhausted very quickly after opening. This was true even for the intake on April 28 as it opened by 9 am and closed by the same day noon itself.

Being prepared proactively can thus be of great advantage for applicants in this stream of Canada Express Entry.

New Brunswick

The reopening of Labor Market Stream aligned with Canada Express Entry was announced by New Brunswick on 1 May. The stream is open for accepting EOIs from qualified candidates. These must cater to the criterions specified for the Skilled Worker Class Federal. They must also secure at least 67 points out of 100 in the selection factors for FSWC.

The New Brunswick province has further indicated that this stream will be opened on the first calendar date of every month. This will be done till an indefinite quota is reached. It means that proactive candidates who are well prepared will have the best chances of success.
