The international students do not require a work permit in Ireland if they are pursuing a one-year study program. The study program should furnish the qualification recognized by the Department of Education and Skills of Ireland.
The international students who possess valid immigration stamp two permission can work for forty hours per week. It is applicable only for June to September, and from mid-December to mid-January.
The students who have Immigration permission Stamp two are permitted to work for only 20 hours per week at other times. This provision is legal as long as the Stamp 2 immigration permission has validity.
