Summary of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program draws in February 2022!

The Provincial Nominee Program is the second leading immigration pathway to Canada. Every month nearly all the provinces held the PNP draws to welcome skilled workers from all over the world.

Similarly, in February 2022, 7 provinces held 18 PNP draws and invited 5848 candidates.

The details of all the PNP draws in February 2022 are given below:

Alberta 

Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP) held only one PNP draw on 01 February 2022 and invited 400 candidates with a CRS score of 340 under Alberta Express Entry stream. Below are the details of the draw.

British Columbia

The Pacific province held 4 draws in February every Tuesday and invited 624 candidates under Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories (Skilled Worker, International Graduate).

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) held draws on February 01, 08, 15, and 22, i.e., every Tuesday, without any delay. It held 2 Tech draws and invited 266 Tech workers in February 2022.

The details of the BC PNP draws listed below:

Manitoba

Manitoba issued 551 invitations under three streams, namely

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba
• Skilled Workers Overseas
• International Education Stream

The Keystone State held two Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draws in February 2022, i.e., the first one on February 10 and the second on February 26. Out of these 551 LAAs, 134 were sent to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile.

Nova Scotia

The province is popularly known as “New Scotland” held one Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP)draw in February 2022 and invited  278 nurses. The draw was held on February 8, under Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities Stream, and National Occupational Classification (NOC) 3012.

Ontario

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 3349 invitations in February. The province is very active in February and issued notifications of interest under the following streams:

• Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker
• Express Entry Human Capital Priorities
• Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream
• Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream
• Ph.D. Graduate stream
• Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream
• Entrepreneur stream

On February 8:  Ontario held two draws and invited 206 FSSW and 622 HCP, workers.

On February 9:  The province held 3 draws and invited 749 candidates from the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker and In-Demand Skills streams.

On February 22: Ontario has again issued NOIs to 773 candidates under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker and In-Demand Skills streams.

On February 24: Ontario issued 818 invitations to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream.

On February 28:  Lastly, the province invited 173 immigration candidates under Ph.D. Graduate stream.

In total, Ontario invited 3349 candidates in February 2022 to apply for a provincial nomination and contributed much to the Immigration Target of 2022.

Prince Edward Island

The province has scheduled the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI-PNP) draws of 2022 and followed exactly without any delay in the first two months of the year. In February 2022, the PEI held one draw and invited 123 candidates, in which 117 candidates from the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams and 6 from the Business Impact stream.

#Quebec Immigration Program

Quebec follows special Immigration Path which is neither Express Entry ot PNP program. In February it held only one draw and invited 523 candidates through Quebec Arrima draw.
