Immigration

Funnily, the whole world has been scurrying to the developed countries in North America, Europe and Oceania. These countries have the toughest laws for illegal immigrants and the strongest institutions for legal migrants to adhere to. Other than these popular options that most migrants want to move to, these are few alternates that have missed the list. These destinations funnily have been in the largely Spanish Continent of South America. Though none of these countries (except the last one) can boast of the developed list, all these countries have the best city destinations in the world. These cities are highly developed in infrastructure, in governmental institutions, economy and culture.

Number one on the list is the country called Brazil. A country with the most popular cities in the world, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo; Brazil has white sand beaches, the Amazon in the background, a rich culture and a High Development Index (HDI). All you need to be is to be retired, have a monthly pension of US$ 2,000 per month. For every dependent with you, all you need is an additional US$ 1,000 per month.

Number two on the list is Argentina. With forests to the north and polar like conditions to the south, Argentina is a large country with a small population. With a population per square kilometer of just 15, all you need is an income of US$ 850 per month.

Number three is Uruguay. The tiny country with a flair for being liberally inclined does not need much to prove you validity. All you need to do is prove that your monthly income is US$ 1,500 per month. Move to the city of Montevideo which houses half its population, or move to the countryside if you want to be one with nature.

Number four is the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. Though being a part of Norway, as per international law Svalbard has a special status and is a visa free zone. More than 60% of these islands are covered in ice. A barren but beautiful place, Svalbard has a very high standard of living and is expensive.
