And in case an extension is needed on an F1 visa, 60 days prior to the expiry of the visa an extension has to be applied.

Especially students on this visa are allowed to work part-time on campus and form I-9 has to be filled with their respective international offices in the US. If the student intends to change the visa status the switch is possible prior to the completion of the program. Students are strictly advised to carry I-94 card with them always.

A designated school official is the best resource for any sorts of legal requirements. For F1 students any changes in the program, or changes in the level of education, transferring to the school or college and requesting a program extension the designated school official will do the needful. The same applies to the students on the M1 visa program. In the case of the absence of the DSO, the department for Student and Exchange Visitor program can corresponded.

On completion of the courses the students with an F1 visa can stay up to 60 days after the completion of the course, students on the M1 visa program can stay up to 30 days after the completion of the program. Every student after the completion of their studies from respective countries of origin begin the search for countries with higher quality of education and then a better employment opportunity after the completion of the opted course.
