GMAT Live Classes

You must all have learned already about the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) exam been conducted online. This has become necessary as the COVID-19 pandemic has made it impossible currently to attend a traditional in-person exam.

GMAT is a computer adaptive test that assesses the analytical, quantitative, writing, reading, and verbal skills in written English. This exam has relevance as its score will be used in getting admission to a graduate management program. E.g. MBA.

After going through GMAT Classes and getting prepared, going through an online test could be a new experience. It should be interesting to know about that experience.

Signing up

The registration is quite easy with a pre-existing login. You must ensure that your personal login details match the document used as the photo ID. This could be your driver’s license or passport.

GMAT test prep

The test-takers will be notified by email with all the necessary instructions to prepare for the test day. You will only need to carry a photo ID and a mobile phone to take photos of the environment in which you are going to participate in the exam. A stable internet connection, preferably a cable-based one, must be there. The reason wi-fi has been recommended as a second option is the higher possibility of connection drops.

You will also get a second email with a link, prior to the test. The link will help you to run a system test. Using that link, you can also download the software necessary to let the proctor remotely observe your computer.

GMAT logistics

You will be asked to pair your mobile phone with the online test system. Then you will click pictures of your surroundings and upload it. Within minutes, a chat box will be opened, your identity confirmed. Your proctor will arrive in the chatbox and grant access to the GMAT exam interface.

Using online whiteboard

The online whiteboard is your tool of assistance to do things like quick jots or taking notes. If you have practiced using it, you are going to benefit from it.

Interacting with the GMAT proctor

The proctor will converse with you and give you instructions whenever needed. It’s like they are observing your actions throughout your exam and making you aware of what you may or may not do.

The overall experience will be new, but with a little practice beforehand, you can deal with it and write the exam quite confidently and without confusion.
