India: U.S. Nonimmigrant Visa Operations – Closed on September 11th, 2014

Due to scheduling changes, the non-immigrant visa sections at all five posts in India will be closed to the public on September 11th 2014.

If you have a nonimmigrant visa interview appointment scheduled for September 11th and you have already attended your biometric collection appointment at the Visa Application Center – you will need to e-mail the call center at to unlock your appointment to subsequently reschedule both appointments at the Visa Application Center and at the post.

If you have a nonimmigrant visa interview appointment scheduled for September 11th and you have not yet attended your biometric collection appointment at the Visa Application Center – you will have to cancel and reschedule both appointments. Simply log in to your profile by and reschedule both your appointments at the Visa Application Center and the respective post. You do not need to contact the call center.
