According to Nuffic, a knowledge centre and public service provider, “In our globalising world, internationalisation is of growing importance for the entire education spectrum”.

As per Nuffic, India was the country of origin of 2,648 students that were among the international degree students in the Netherlands in 2018-19.

Incidentally, Germany sent the most students – 22,584 – to the Netherlands in 2017-18.
