The Best 10 Overseas MBAs right now

The Financial Times’ ranking of Top 100 Overseas MBAs for 2018 is topped by Graduate School of Business Stanford that returns to the #1 position. Its 2014 alumni earn the maximum average pay 3 years upon graduation. It is a whopping 114% raise from their prior MBA days.

The notable trends for 2018 include the popularity of 2-year Overseas MBAs. They occupy 9 out of the top 10 rankings, as quoted by the Study International. These programs either rose in rankings or maintained their positions. Meanwhile, the 1-year MBA programs declined in their positions mostly.

Business Schools in Asia have performed impressively in the 2018 rankings. 15 of them are ranked in this year’s ranking which is a record-breaking number.

CEIBS – China Europe International Business School is ranked at the 9th position of the top 100.It is the best Business School in Asia. The comparatively unknown institution first entered the rankings in 2002 at the 92nd rank. It has now entered the global top 10 for Overseas MBAs in 2018. CEIBS is now ahead of the National University of Singapore Business School and HKUST Business School.

The Copenhagen Business School has created history by becoming the first Danish Business School to enter the Financial Times’ ranking. It has an incredible program specifically for professionals with more maturity looking for development.

Business Schools have to fulfill the entry criteria of FT to make it to the list. It includes accreditation by AACSB – Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business or EQUIS.

The FT’s survey was completed by 2014 class 8,300 alumni on 8 out of the 20 diverse rankings criteria. This constitutes 59% of the weight for the rankings. The remaining criteria are based on research and school data.
