Applicants must be females from an emerging economy or developing nation. They must be getting ready for a Doctoral degree or Post-PhD research in STEM areas.

Amelia Earhart Zonta International Fellowship

This overseas STEM scholarship for women was established by Zonta International in a tribute to Amelia Earhart in 1938. It is a service guild consisting or Managerial Women who are solitary representatives of one profession or business in a community and Earhart was also its member.

The US$10,000 Scholarship offered in Amelia’s name annually is for 30 women. They must be pursuing Doctoral/Ph.D. Degrees in Aerospace-applied Engineering or Aerospace-applied Sciences. It is for any College or University that offers recognized Post-graduate Degrees and Courses in these fields.

Scholars Program for Women Techmakers

Scholars Program for Women Techmakers was earlier known as Memorial Scholarship Program for Anita Borg, Google. Through this, Google has the aim to achieve Dr. Anita Borg’s thought of achieving gender parity in the Computer Science field. This is by promoting women to excel in Technology and Computing and becoming role models and active leaders in the field.

Applicants must demonstrate a background of interest and academic excellence in STEM.
