Top 10 Germany Universities for Graduate employability

Overall 15 Germany Universities have obtained a place in the 2019 Global University Employability Ranking. It has been published exclusively by THE – Times Higher Education and designed by HR consultancy – Emerging. The ranking discloses the Universities in Germany that Hiring Managers at top firms deem to be best at equipping students for the workplace.

The top Germany University for Graduate employability is the Technical University of Munich. Just 1 of the top 5 Universities is in Berlin. The top 2 are in Munich and others are situated in Frankfurt and Heidelberg.

This University refers to itself as ‘the entrepreneurial university’ being the top University in Germany for employability. It is owing to its emphasis on close industry ties. Several academics also hold positions in firms such as Siemens and BMW. Students take up research projects with employers in their region.

  1. LMU Munich

It is the 6th oldest University in Germany that is continuously functional. LMU Munich is also the second largest University when it comes to the student population. It has 18 faculties including Social Sciences, Medicine, Economics and Law.

  1. Heidelberg University

This is the oldest University in Germany established in 1386. 11 Professors from the Heidelberg University have been awarded the Nobel Prize. This is after 1901 when the award was established.
