The list of Richest US Destinations by Bloomberg has been topped by Atherton, California with a median annual household income of $ 443,403. The second position has been bagged by Cherry Hills Village, Colorado and third by Scarsdale, New York. They had a median annual household income of $ 390,224 and $ 387,558 respectively.
Aspiring Overseas Immigrants would definitely like to move to the richest US destinations. Incomes are increasing in the US for the last couple of years now. However, the levels of income are not uniform across the US, as quoted by the CNBC.
There are specific destinations that come to one’s mind when we discuss the richest US destinations. These could be the sun-soaked beaches of Miami or the skyscrapers of New York. The survey by Bloomberg has used the latest data from the US census. It then compiled a list of top 100 richest US destinations. This is based on the average annual household income.
The typical US family had a median annual household income of just more than $ 59,000. Meanwhile, for the richest 100, the income was far much higher. An annual income of around $ 200,000 was needed to gain an entry into the richest 100 list.
