Australia Subclass 500 Student Visa holders can apply to take on 2 or additional courses where there is conspicuous progression between courses. This is commonly known as Course Packaging.
The last course that you will take on as a part of your course package will be your principal/main course of study. This will be used to establish your evidentiary requirements for English language and finances.
Overseas student applicants most offer confirmation that they are registered in all the courses. This is mandatory for obtaining the Australia Subclass 500 Student Visa for the entire duration of packaged courses.
You can have only less than 2 calendar months elapsing between courses if your visa application includes course packaging. The only exemption to this is when the first course ends at the conclusion of the academic year. Plus, the subsequent course must begin at the commencement of the typical academic year.
For instance, the academic year normally ends in November. It again commences only in February the subsequent year. This 3-4 months gap is accepted between courses, as quoted by the Home Affairs Gov Au.
The period of the course package must not surpass the upper limit for the visa grant period. This is for being granted the Student Visa for the full package. Your course start and end dates can be affected. This is if you already hold an Australia Student Visa and swap courses within the same sector.
Your visa can be canceled if you have enrolled in a fresh course and have extended the course gap. You can choose to enroll in a short course to fill the gap in this scenario. This course can be in any sector. It includes vocational training / education or ELICOS and higher education.
