Nearly 50% of all the overseas students in Australia are studying Management and Commerce courses. This has been revealed by the TEQSA Registered Higher Education Providers 2018 Statistics Report. Meanwhile, just 15% of their domestic peers are enrolled in these courses, as quoted by the Study International.

Management and Commerce courses in Australia witnessed an overall 4% increase in Overseas Students’ enrolments. This was in comparison with the previous year.

Overseas students are enrolled in strikingly diverse courses in Australian Universities in comparison with their domestic peers. This has been revealed by the latest report by Australia’s TEQSA – Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency.

The next preference of Overseas Students in Australia is the IT, Engineering and other Allied Technologies. This is followed by Hospitality, Food, and Personal Services. It witnessed a 60% hike in enrolments within just 3 years.

The subject with maximum preference with Australian students was Education. This was, however, the least preferred by the overseas Students in Australia. It was followed by Mixed Food Programs and Health. The higher education sector Statistics Report for 2018 has also been released by TEQSA.
