Who is Sundar Pichai?

Indian news media and Indian citizens have been in awe of this incredibly shy ‘nerd’ who has risen to become the head of the most famous multicounty digital behemoth of a company, scoring a rank of being a net worth of US$ 150 million King of Google. Most of us had never heard of this young Indian from Chennai before becoming the CEO of Google. His sudden rise, in Google and popularity, has left a sense of vacuum when we think of Sundar Pichai. To answer this mystery, we have compiled a list 22 things that can help define a clearer image of the man we know as Sundar Pichai.

  1. Born on 12th July 1972 to parents Lakshmi and Regunatha Pichai in Chennai. Mr. Pichai worked as an engineer for General Electric Company and is a role model to his son.

  17. Lives in San Francisco, California with his wife, daughter, and son.
  18. Is a very opinionated person.
  19. He Was once a top contender for the post of CEO at Microsoft, which went to Satya Nadella instead.
