Updated Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL)

PMSOL has zeroed in on 44 professions where critical skills are required to support the economic recovery of Australia that was affected due to COVID-19. The Do HA prepares this list after consulting the Commonwealth departments and receiving expert advice from the National Skills Commission.

Remember that processed on a priority basis are the visa applications mentioned on the PMSOL and in the employer-sponsored nominations. Although other skilled professions listings would continue to accept visa applications, the occupations mentioned in PMSOL would be accorded priority.

Note that PMSOL is temporary, and other occupations may be prioritized depending on the country’s situation. Meanwhile, the government of Australia and the National Skills Commission are continuing to keep an eye on the effects of COVID-19 on the county’s job market. They will evaluate the skill requirements of Australia as they forward, and the job scenario of Australia becomes clearer.
