Saudi limits family visitors visa to 6 months

Saudi Arabia has decided to limit the family visitors visa span to six months, affecting 2.8 million Indian workers living in the Kingdom.

The period would start once a visitor arrives in the country and registers on the passport department’s computerised system, said Lt Col Ahmed bin Fahad Al-Luhaidan.

He said the visa will not extended beyond 180 days.

He made the statement in response to queries made by several people with regard to the validity and extension of visit visas.
