GMAT

Over 6,000 Business Management Programs and 1,700 Universities across the world use GMAT test. It is not an easy feat as the selection has to be done from a pool of highly qualified applicants. Let us take a look at the 4 key elements of the structured test GMAT:

  1. Analytical Writing Assessment

AWA does not contribute to your overall GMAT score. It is still important as the score is considered by the universities.  You must ensure to recognize, comprehend and use deductions, inferences, and assumptions. It will be checked whether you are able to test the validity of these aspects.

  1. Integrated Reasoning

Candidates are presented with data in a diverse range of formats. They are expected to comprehend and synthesize the same. Succeeding in this section requires the ability to see interdependencies or relationships within data. It is also required to analyze data from diverse sources and combine these for complex problem-solving.

  1. Quantitative Reasoning

It evaluates your ability to comprehend and interpret quantitative data. Analyzing and applying data for problem-solving and critical evaluation of data sufficiency is also included. You will need to work out the answers manually as calculators are not permitted.

  1. Verbal Reasoning

This is the second assessed GMAT section. It assesses your ability for reading, comprehending, and applying the written material. Enhance your vocabulary and seek opportunities for expansion of familiar words. Reading highbrow literature and broadsheet can be of real help, as quoted by the Business Because.

Perfection is achieved through practice. It is better if you can complete as many practice tests as possible. It is really worth doing complete papers under the test scenario. This will help you to benchmark your actual standing in the test success rate.
